Terms of service
Last updated 21 August 2026
These terms govern access to Lakeside CMS, the internal operations platform of Lakeside Marketing (“we”, “us”). By signing in, or by authorising a connection between your accounts and this application, you agree to them.
What this application is
Lakeside CMS is software we built for our own staff to run the marketing work we perform for our clients. It is not a product offered to the public. There is no sign-up, no subscription, and no licence granted to anyone outside our organisation and the clients whose accounts it connects to.
Who may use it
Only Lakeside Marketing staff with an account created by an administrator. Accounts are personal and must not be shared. We may suspend or remove an account at any time.
Connected accounts
Where a client authorises us to connect their Google Analytics, Search Console, Google Ads or Business Profile account, that authorisation is given by the client and may be withdrawn by the client at any time, either through us or at myaccount.google.com/permissions.
We request read-only access. We do not create campaigns, change budgets, publish content, or modify anything in a connected account. What we do with the data we read is described in our privacy policy, which forms part of these terms.
Accuracy of reporting
Reports produced by this application draw on third-party data — Google’s APIs and paid search-data providers — and on estimates clearly labelled as such. We take care that every figure is presented with its source and its confidence, but we do not warrant that third-party data is complete or correct, and reports should be read as analysis rather than as a guarantee of outcomes.
Acceptable use
Do not attempt to access accounts or client records you are not authorised to see, do not attempt to extract credentials, and do not use the application to process data you do not have the right to process.
Availability
The application is provided on an “as is” basis. It is an internal tool, not a service sold with an uptime commitment, and we may change, suspend or discontinue any part of it.
Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from use of this application. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
Changes
We may update these terms. The date at the top of this page shows when they last changed, and continued use after a change constitutes acceptance of it.
